DiSHAN’s very first center was inaugurated on 15th August , 2008 at Kakdwip, almost at the rivers' confluence with the Bay of Bengal. Since 2008 the number of our center has grown quickly and by 2013 stretched up toward, around and beyond the south 24 pargana & East medinipur. Most centers are in rural or semi-urban locations.
